We started working with Monarch Airlines in 2008 when we were asked to redesign two websites in the Monarch colours. Cosmos Holidays was rebranded as Monarch Holidays and Somewhere2stay as Monarch Hotels, which when combined with the airline product created Monarch's travel portal.
Over the past few years we've helped rebrand the airline; launched a mobile version of the booking process; launched several multi-language variants to cater for the overseas market and helped develop Monarch's in-flight entertainment and shopping system.
Bookings Up 22%
Over the past few years we've been focusing on improving the booking processes with a view to increasing the booking conversion rates and the uptake in in-flight and holiday extras.

The results have been spectacular with year on year flight bookings increasing by 22% with a greatly improved conversion rate. Flight extras such as pre-allocated seats, extra legroom and bags have all seen similar growth of around 20%.
The flight website has been shortlisted for the Travolution Best Airline Website 2012 and is currently ranked the website as best in sector by eDigitalResearch beating Virgin Atlantic, easyJet, and British Airways amongst the others. The continual improvements made to the holidays website have also seen its ranking steadily climb from 32nd to 8th overall in the travel industry.

The Flight Booking Process
Allows customers to book flight packages, choose their seats on the plane, book extras like meals, travel insurance, airport lounges, car hire, hotels and more. A running total clearly itemises every component, vouchers can be redeemed and payment can be made by payment card or through PayPal.
The Monarch Holidays website caters for a variety of different holidays types, each with subtle selling and booking criteria. Beach and villa holidays are available to book, along with tours, cruises and safaris and specialist holidays like Lapland Christmas adventures and skiing trips.
Working alongside Transive and Monarch we are in the process of developing and launching a number of foreign language Monarch sites in order to increase sales overseas. These websites focus on selling flights to the UK initially to the Italians, Germans and Spanish. The sales message, research content, frequently asked questions and entire booking process have been translated and the programming modified to dynamically display any given language.
