Project Introduction
Deloitte has developed a unique perspective on maximising
shareholder value and have a suite of tools and methodologies
to support this approach. Working alongside strategic
consultants April Strategy, Digital Marmalade was
commissioned to develop a training program that brings
these tools and the initiative to life. Our task was
to train the entire client facing team to adopt this
new approach to sales and consultancy.
Project Build
The development of this project was very different
to any projects we had previously worked on. A small
investigation team consisting of the European Head
of Marketing, April Strategy and Digital Marmalade
identified the key ‘Value Initiative’
experts, within Deloitte, around the world. After
data mining and extensive interviewing, we began to
form an architecture for the training program. This
enabled us to establish the multimedia treatments
for each module. All manner of multimedia was employed
to ensure the final product delivered the message
in the most impactful and memorable way.
A small camera crew travelled across Europe and USA
to interview, film, and photograph the firm’s
senior leaders and account teams. Back home another
team recorded and edited phone conversations with
value experts and gathered documented material to
further flesh out the content. Tools and charts were
sprinkled with multimedia magic to intuitively show
their use within consultancy. Real client examples
were developed using a combination of video footage,
audio files, webinars, learning exercises and more.
The final CD-ROM and training booklet was themed and
packaged around a nautical voyage to destination value.
