Helping to facilitate the launch of a new text based service, Digital Marmalade was engaged to produce an effective, simple website to promote and support the product. Working under strict corporate guidelines, laid out by FIFA and Yahoo, official online partners of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
In addition we worked closely with JVC and Zap Mobile Communications to develop a concept that is hoped will be a leading football based service, with added two-way interactivity using mobile phones. The website, produced in one week, lays down an effective, clear brand, which will be supported by a massive marketing campaign, including the likes of Teletext, Sky, Newsquest, Northcliffe papers, talkSPORT and many more - all brought together with the help of Tony Brennand, DM Sales Director.
".it has been a challenge to put together such an array of media partners and tie that into the needs of FIFA and their various official partners, but we are pleased with the results, time taken and most importantly cost charged. We hope it will play a small part in the projects overall success.. ."
