DM completes Gecko's Client Sign-Off Facility

In print, as with most creative industries, there is a constant need for distributing and re-distributing assets relating to work in hand. This can be time consuming to send/receive as well as frustrating to resolve when in the midst of a quick turnaround project.

Print specialist, Gecko Direct is no exception and continually has issues with distribution of assets, supplying source materials, signing off work in progress and delivering final assets. The difference is that Gecko Direct wanted to do something about it, and make it a much simpler process - which would mean high service level offering for their clients, as well as improved productivity as work is completed quicker and sign-off is much easier to attain.

Digital Marmalade has developed a simple application on the existing website which enables transfer of materials between Gecko and its clients.

Gecko has the control to create new client user accounts from which files can be uploaded for review. In addition the application automatically notifies the relevant parties of files which need their attention.
