Digital Marmalade Complete Explosive New Site

CompEx is a training initiative, jointly developed by the Engineering Equipment and Materials Users’ Association (EEMUA) and JTL. It is the leading national training, assessment and certification scheme for electrotechnical craftspersons working in potentially hazardous or explosive atmospheres.

CompEx’s original website was really out of date, and in great need of attention. It needed a more modern looking site which could be updated easily, so Digital Marmalade were called in.

The new site allows the user to access course information, course centre information, and details on CompEx. An interactive map enables the user to chose their location, and from there they can see what courses are available, and in which locations. The different course centre’s websites are linked to this information, as well as Google Maps which detail their exact locations. Users can even register their details and apply for courses online.

The website has a different look and feel to the rest of the JTL sites, but also ties into the brand through the use of colour and clean design. It is simple to navigate and extremely easy to use. Through the Content Management System (CMS) in place, information can be updated easily by staff ensuring that the content is always up to date and relevant.
