Digital Marmalade Win Website Re-Design and Planning Contract

Digital Marmalade is pleased to announce that we have won the somewhere2stay website design and planning contract. As a sister company of Cosmos Holidays, the UK’s largest independent tour operator, somewhere2stay is an online hotel and villa booking service that provides customers with holiday accommodation only.

Following from the success of the work that we are doing with Cosmos, we have been asked to join the project in a design and consultancy capacity. The first step is to interview everyone within the company and create a Functional Specification Document which will basically act as a blueprint for the project. This document will map the structure of the site, agree the new designs to be deployed, and outline the required programming and functionality, the content management system and the structure for the data. Then we’ll carefully phase the document to give the project team a timeframe and clear plan to work to.

The online travel industry is notoriously competitive, but we are confident that we can provide s2s with a website that will help to position the company as a market leader. We have the advantage of the wealth of knowledge that we have built through the work that we have done with Cosmos - we will be applying all of this to the project and building upon it to further cement our own expertise.
