  • 2009 - International Paper
Vice President of Euopean Container Interview added

  • As part of our ongoing work with International Paper, last year we were asked to create an online television channel for the company, entited IPTV. This channel is a central place on the company's Intranet which gives International Paper a cost effective and innovative medium for communicating with its 50,000 staff across the globe.

This month, we've added a video of an interview with Paul Brown, Vice President and General Manager, International Paper European Container. This is the second program to have been created by us for IPTV as part of its 'The Interviews' series.

We sent our crew out to Brussels to film the interview at International Paper's headquarters. Again, we dressed an office with a black backdrop and lit the room so as to make it look like a real TV studio. Using a two camera set up, we filmed the interview using our HD cameras. The footage was then edited in house at the Digital Marmalade studios, and uploaded to a secure web space for International Paper to approve.

Once this was approved, we wrote subtitles for the video which were translated into five different languages - French, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Russian. These were then time coded and fed into an Flash from an XML document. The subtitles were added to the video, along with a title sequence and a soundtrack.

In this episode of 'The Interviews' Paul Brown reviews 2008 and talks about the company's challenges and priorities for 2009. We created two bonus videos. In the first, Paul talks about the new Obama Administration, and in the second he discusses International Paper's Global Container Business and what will define its success in 2009. These have both been made available on IPTV, complete with subtitles, and can be viewed by International Paper staff across the globe!
