This is the third episode in a series of programs that we have created for International Paper’s IPTV channel. In this program Eric Chartrain – International Paper’s Vice President for Manufacturing and Technology in Europe Middle East and Africa - discusses the outcomes of the Inverurie Mill consultation process, the manufacturing and technology 2009 priorities, and what he would do if he was CEO for a day.

IPTV is a TV channel that exists on International Paper’s Intranet. It’s a central place for employees to view video content, thus enabling International Paper to communicate effectively with its staff across the globe.

We filmed, edited, scripted and subtitled the finished program in six different languages. This process is really streamlined now, and the plan is that moving forward, we will continue to create a program every month.

Having a tool like IPTV in place is extremely useful – especially in times as difficult as these. Communicating with staff is key to keeping morale high and business focused.
