Our primary goal in the site's evolution is to increase conversion rates throughout the customer journey when researching and booking flights, hotels and holidays, on every platform. Independent Research ranked the Monarch website as the best online flight operator in the UK and in the top 10 within the travel industry, beating competitors many of whom have much bigger budgets!
Sport Passport is a sport skills learning and assessment platform, commissioned by Swim Wales and launched in late 2015. Through pool and pitch side instructor applications students are assessed on sport specific sets of objectives. The learning process has been gamified to reward students as they progress by unlocking games, puzzles and prizes. The platform features comprehensive lesson management tools, bespoke course creation functionality and detailed progress reports. Aquapassport, the swimmming derivative of the application has already been adopted by Swim Wales, Scottish Swimming and a number of UK leisure centre chains.
Responsive website for New River Sport & Fitness Centre, operated by Fusion Lifestyle. The content management system allow Fusion's commercial team to manage promotions, membership details, prices, news, and events and provides page building tools to create flexible, engaging custom content. Fusion have now commissioned a full redesign and build rollout project across the 100 plus centres in its portfolio.
Intencity is a brand new concept in High Intensity Interval Training (HITT) by Fusion Lifestyle. The innovative class needed its own brand and identity, setting it apart not only from Fusion's other classes, but from all other HIIT classes. The red and black theme is inspired by 'the Red Zone' which is the ideal heart rate you aim to reach in the class as registered by custom chest bands and displayed on screens in the studio.
NetNames provides a single point of contact for management of internet domain names, in all locations, globally, and protection for brands across all online environments. Digital Marmalade's UX designers were tasked with creating simple user journeys to manage all technical aspects on portolio management, domain settings and purchases.
Fusion's 'School's Out Campaign' is set up to help and inspire parents in school holidays and on weekends! The bright, clean and responsively designed microsite features regularly updated seasonal content and bookable events and classes across over one hundred Fusion leisure centres, managed through the Marmalade Suite's intuitive CMS tools.
Miki Travel is a leading wholesale travel provider offering products and services including hotels, restaurants, coaches and sightseeing tours. Miki place technology and strong relationship building at the forefront of their business. The Chapel is a multi award winning hairdressing establishment in the UK. The beautifully crafted website supports the exclusive gold standard ethos of the company whilst elegantly showcasing the three salons, the team and beauty services on offer. The Event Rider Masters is a new concept created by senior figures within the Eventing world – one that is looking to develop a sport that is both appealing to TV whilst attracting new audiences and sponsors into the sport. ERM are looking to revolutionise the world of eventing – much in the same say as 20/20 refreshed cricket. The client needed a site that would establish credibility and attract the right kind of sponsor – Rolex as a specific example - so DM created an elegant, sophisticated site which looks great on any device and helps develop the sport. With member-only areas, data capture direct into 3rd party system – this case Mail Chimp – the site is hitting all its marks.
The new Fusion Lifestyle location websites are a complete overhaul from the old sites. From the very necessary update of making the sites responsive, to a new, bespoke and flexible CMS, the new template based Fusion websites are a welcome change for Fusion customers and staff alike. Using Fusion’s new brand guidelines, we designed clean and bold sites, taking into account key customer research in terms of UX and creating naturally flowing user journeys. It is now easy to enter the booking path from multiple places on the site, and find out all the centres have to offer. More updates are planned soon, including more sophisticated timetabling.
The Great Outdoors is a seasonal campaign to promote Fusion's variety of fun and adventurous outdoor activities. The spring/summer campaign focuses on asking the user just how adventurous they want to be, then serving up relevant activities in the local area to encourage them to try something new. An integrated 'The Wall of Greatness' social feature allows users to post photos of themselves taking part in the activities via Instagram and Twitter.
Tigerair is a leading Singapore-based no-frills airline. We were tasked with optimising the site's booking process through UX design improvements. A similar exercise was commissioned with Dubai based airline Air Arabia. Both resulted in significant increases in booking conversions.

The company's sustainability story is beautifully brought together in a striking, responsive, multilanguage website - comprising of a trilogy of pieces: The Little Green Book, The Little Book of Common Sense and A Matter of Credentials.
Cosmos Holidays is the UK's largest independent tour operator. Digital Marmalade were first engaged in 2007 to help re-position the company online, improve visibility though Search Engine Optimisation and increase conversion rates to boost sales. Within the first year the website was regularly converting over £1 million of direct sales a week - a 250% increase on the same period year-on-year. In the subsequent years we've added new product types and continued to improve the site and conversions. A case study of the relationship was recently featured in the book 'Brilliant Online Marketing' by Alex Blyth.
Amby produce and sell top quality baby hammocks. We were asked to redesign the website to increase brand and product awareness and to ultimately improve sales. A fresh, responsive design; logical restructure and improved treatment of the content all lead to a more informed customer which is paramount when it comes to making a buying decision on a new-born's sleeping pattern. The Amby site strikes a good balance as proved by the large increase in sales since the redesign.

We've been supporting Barker Gillette since we were first invited to redesign its website in 2008. The latest upgrade sees the website go responsive whilst retaining its clean and slick design to reflect the company's professionalism. It has always been key to position the firm as approachable and friendly - staff 'alter ego' profiles allow users to see a more personal side of the firm.
The website using the hook, 'What Are You Waiting For', is built on the foundations of the Autumn campaign, Feel Alive, and showcases Fusion's wide array of activities and classes across their numerous centres, encouraging customers to sign up for a free 2 day pass.
Fabris Lane is the UK's largest manufacturer of eyewear, selling around 5 million pieces annually to a wide range of retailers and optician groups. The website was restructured to focus on Fabris Lane's expertise in providing the full spectrum of the retail offer from initial concept to shelf ready product - a step away from the previous product-led website.
SkyTrail is a leading broker and wholesaler of chartered commercial and private aircraft, with over 1,500 customers carrying over 32 million passengers. The brief was to design the website to reflect its market leading position, while encouraging potential customers to get in touch. As always the site is responsive and fully content managed.

It allows people to raise money, donate goods, volunteer time and make legacy gifts to over 160,000 charities. Built on the Marmalade Suite platform, the site enables all UK charities to build on their existing supporter relationships, gain new supporters, create powerful microsites with full content management, social media integration and financial reporting.
Fusion Lifestyle offer the opportunity for your child to learn to swim through its Swim School programme. The website is a directory of centres that offer the programme, (postcode finder, interactive map), displayed alongside support information and links directly to each centres Swim School timetables and booking facility.
Bexhill Academy is a vibrant and thriving school at the heart of its community. The website was developed to be handled by specific modules in a custom CMS built in Marmalade Suite. Additionally however, we built a dynamic 'Page Content' module which allows Bexhill (and subsequent schools) to add custom pages on the fly.
