Acorn Business Supplies commissioned Digital Marmalade to build it a new website in late 2005. With few meetings the Digital Marmalade team quickly understood our brief and how we wanted the site to appear professional but simple for our customers to navigate. You managed it!! You landed the slippery fish we know as our web site. In 4 weeks, you turned unconnected ramblings and a mass of disparate graphics, text and file types into a co-ordinated data-base driven site that is far more than a mere digital brochure. Our previous attempt took two years because we couldn't decide what to include, but the use of templates over which we have absolute control of the content stopped all the prevarication. Before your original presentation, I thought data-based sites were only for large companies or e-commerce and that we would have to have someone competent in web-design software. However you were able to define a simple elegant way for clients to search for the information they need to convince them that we have the skill and experience to handle their projects. I found dealing with you very similar to the way we explain the development of a proposal to clients and the regular updates and examples were useful. We now have a strategy for further development of the site as well as the associated other digital media. On behalf of us all, thank you for all of your efforts and tolerance as well as the final result. It's up to us now to justify it with the content.

There was a lot of work involved in setting up Filmnight, a small team of us worked hard on everything from online stock systems and data warehousing to kiosk design and DVD distribution. Having Digital Marmalade there from the beginning to help us with our branding and broadcasting requirements was great. The quality of Filmnight TV gives the right impression of our brand and sets apart our stores the others. I particularly like the control of the broadcast content; we've been experimenting with different play-lists to see how effective changes in content can be towards driving up subscriptions and sales.
