A Cheeky Half Updated Site Goes Live

When our very own web designer Jeremy Jones designed and built a site for discovering new places to drink in London, it was really just a personal project. A place to test out his new skills. However, www.acheekyhalf.co.uk has become much more than that and he felt that it was time for a redesign.

The website is a database of bars and pubs in London, which users can review and rate. The unprecedented amount of hits that the site has been receiving is proof of the success of the idea! The newly designed site takes the functionality of the original site and extends upon it. The search function, like the look and feel, has been hugely simplified. Instead of three search pages, there is now just one. He’s also introduced Google Maps to show the exact location of each pub.

This second version is much more search engine friendly, too. With this, and the addition of an RSS feed to encourage repeat visits, the site will only go from strength to strength.
