Barker Gillette LLP New Website Goes Live

Digital Marmalade are delighted this week to release the updated website for Barker Gillette LLP. Originally approached in 2008 to design their previous website, it has now undergone a re-design to bring it up to date and better reflect them as the professional yet friendly law firm that they are.

One key consideration was to make the site responsive, so now the browsing experience on tablet is as good as that on a PC. The design is clean and modern, using good quality photographs, and includes scrolling testimonials and department drop downs on each page to allow users to easily navigate.

Barker Gillette were also keen to make sure that their friendly and approachable nature was still reflected, so we updated the 'Alter Egos' feature showing a personal side that will make users feel comfortable.

Key to the success of the new website was the use of the new Marmalade Suite which allows the staff to quickly and easily update things like their alter ego profiles, main profiles, images, news, general content, testimonials and department info. It is very simple to use, and changes can be previewed, saved and seen instantly on the site. For a law firm which is growing and evolving, it is so important for them to have flexibility and control over their content, which Marmalade Suite provides.
