Digital Marmalade has worked with Barker Gillette for over four years, building it an award winning website and supporting the law firm in its digital strategy. With the success of the work that we did recently on updating the website, Barker Gillette decided that it was time to further enhance it by adding video content.
Barker Gillette's unique approach to its business is to break down the stereotype of 'the law firm', and instead create a friendly, approachable face, which perfectly reflects its robust and charismatic team. By using video on the site, this could be taken to the next level.
Armed with our camera and lights, we went along to the Barker Gillette offices in central London to film interviews with the employees. Working together, we had decided on six questions to ask the employees on camera.
The footage was then edited at the Digital Marmalade studios, and a number of different edits were created. We made films for the individual staff pages, department pages, and a page devoted entirely to video content – 'Talking Heads'.
This video content has significantly enhanced the website’s user experience, and developed on the company's aim to convey its personality through its digital assets.
