Digital Marmalade fly to Budapest for some team building

The DM team had a valuable opportunity for some quality team building this July as we jetted off to sunny Budapest for a weekend. With 3 new starters in the last year it was the perfect time for us to all get to know each other a little better.

We had a fabulous time, starting with a traditional Hungarian feast on the Friday evening that left us all needing a lie down. Saturday was packed with activities, including riding the funicular up to Buda Castle and in the afternoon taking part in two of Budapest's famous TRAP games where we had to work together to solve puzzles and escape from a locked room. Both teams just about managed to wrap their brains around it and escape just in time!

We also managed to squeeze in a visit to the caves under the city and a soak in the thermal baths before heading back to London on the Sunday night, an exhausted but happy Digital Marmalade with plenty of stories to tell.

One of which, we are very excited to announce, is the engagement of Tony to his lovely lady Michelle! He proposed at Buda Castle on the Saturday. Massive congratulations to you both, we look forward to the wedding!
