Digital Marmalade Produce Telegraphs Music Video and Email Campaign
Thu 20 Mar 2008
Brighton band Telegraphs have come a long way since we started working with them in 2005. They've seen support from national publications such as music magazines Kerrang and Rock Sound, as well as having their single 'This Is The Message' played on Radio One.
Digital Marmalade was recently called in to help the band produce a music video and an e-flyer to help promote the release of their next single - 'The Rules of Modern Policing'. Over a two day shoot Digital Marmalade assisted the band when filming scenes in several locations using our Sony FX 1 HD camera and brand new lighting rig. We then worked with the band on the final edit - which can be viewed at www.telegraphsonline.co.uk.
Telegraphs' management team wanted to give the promotion campaign an extra edge - as an unsigned band in this ever digitally obsessed industry, we suggested that an HTML based flyer embedded into an email could give them just the edge that they wanted. We created two such flyers, one targeted at music industry contacts and other at fans of the band. We used assets such as stills from the video, copy supplied by the band's PR company, and bespoke graphics created by our design team in line with the style and aesthetic of the video.
The single will be released through iTunes on April 14th, and has already receieved play on MTV2.
