Jazz singer, flautist and pianist Eileen Hunter has had a long career working in all areas of music and theatre. In 2004 her husband, Steve Brookstein won The X-Factor, making him an overnight – if short lived – success.

Eileen invited Digital Marmalade to build her a website to create and online presence and raise her profile. Working with Eileen, we have created a website in Flash which is contemporary and funky but at the same time balances the classical and traditional elements of her music. All of the usual sections have been included; ‘Music’, ‘Diary’, ‘Biography’, ‘Photos’, ‘Contact’ and ‘Mailing List’, each illustrated beautifully with high quality press shots of the stunning Eileen. There is a Flash media player which allows the user to listen to her music whilst exploring the site. Animation gives the website a fluid movement as the user browses between the different pages. Each section is dominated by a particular colour, and this is offset with the black and grey border to give the site a very modern but always tasteful look and feel.
