New Streetbase website goes live [Skip to main content](#main-content) ![](https://www.digitalmarmalade.co.uk/pagebuilder/243/download/content_id)

Streetbase has been set up by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council, and provides an online events directory which lists local events for young people over the summer. It is an initiative which aims to get young people involved in community projects and courses, educate them about the support and advice groups available, and get fit.

This simple but extremely effective site is fully searchable by the category, area and time of the events listed. It has a data collection form, too, and is fully AAA accessible. We used the existing logo as a starting point and built the site with an urban look and feel which will appeal to its target audience.

We turned this website round in record speed, and we’re really pleased with the result.
