Setanta Sport is a leading international sports broadcaster. It owns and operates premium sports TV channels that are made available on a subscription basis to customers through satellite, cable, digital terrestrial, broadband and mobile distribution. Founded in 1992, Setanta now has over three million subscribers to its channels and is believed to be the fastest growing pay television operator in Europe.
We have worked with Setanta on a number of projects, and thanks to the success of the work that we have done with them we were recently commissioned to produce some motion graphics for the channel. This was a really exciting project for us to work on, as it gave out post-production team a chance to flex their creative muscles.
In our initial meeting with Setanta we discussed and refined the project brief to ensure that everyone was on the same page. The message, mood, tone and style that Setanta wanted were discussed, and technical details such as the duration, music, imagery and footage were provided to us.
The next stage of the project was to storyboard ideas, and create a rough edit for the client. Once this was approved our motion graphics team started production, enhancing the piece with our own graphical touches.
