Digital Marmalade was originally commissioned to design The Chapel’s website in 2001. Following from the success of this site we were recently asked to come back redesign it; to update it and give it a fresh look and feel, as well as to dramatically expand on the content.
Previously the website had just four sections. We’ve built on these, and the website now boasts a total of eleven different sections, including ‘Testimonials’, ‘Products’, and even a ‘Virtual Tour’ - which features 360Â° videos of The Chapel, allowing the user to have a look around the salon from the comfort of their home. We have used slow animation to enhance the relaxed feel of The Chapel itself, giving the website a feeling of gentle fluidity. The clean design and the colour scheme fit perfectly with The Chapel’s offline branding. These design elements, together with the Flash animation in place, make for an exceptionally stylish website.
The Chapel has recognised that Digital Marmalade can keep the online aspect of their business at the forefront of the industry.
