APS is an advisory firm that consults with clients on creating end-to-end solutions for creating high-performance workplace cultures. As part of this offering they came to Digital Marmalade in order to create a bespoke learning platform to introduce foundational knowledge about inclusion in the workplace.

Sport Passport

Sport Passport is a sport skills learning and assessment platform, commissioned by Swim Wales and launched in 2016. Students are assessed on sport specific sets of objectives by instructors using pool side and pitch side apps. The learning process has been gamified to reward students as they progress by unlocking games, puzzles and prizes. The platform features comprehensive lesson management tools, bespoke course creation functionality and detailed progress reporting. AquaPassport, the learn to swim framework, has over 100,000 active participants having already been adopted by Swim Wales, Scottish Swimming and a number of UK leisure centre chains.

Intencity is a brand new concept in High Intensity Interval Training (HITT) by Fusion Lifestyle. The innovative class needed its own brand and identity, setting it apart not only from Fusion's other classes, but from all other HIIT classes. The red and black theme is inspired by 'the Red Zone' which is the ideal heart rate you aim to reach in the class as registered by custom chest bands and displayed on screens in the studio.

Fusion Lifestyle

Fusion operate over 100 leisure centres across the UK. The new centre websites have a fresh new responsive design ensuring they look that look great on workstations, tablets and mobile devices. UX improvements now make it much easier for visitors to find relevant information. Group activities and leisure facilities are readily accessible and new interactive timetables provide naturally flowing user journeys into the booking process. Online membership sign-up has also been streamlined and improved. The sites are managed through an intuitive, bespoke Leisure Management Platform built on Marmalade Suite.

Monarch Airlines

Digital Marmalade has supported Monarch Airlines’ digital activities since we first re-designed its website in 2009. Our primary goal in the site's evolution is to improve customer engagement and increase conversion rates throughout the customer journey when researching and booking flights, hotels and holidays across all devices. Independent Research ranked the Monarch website as the best online flight operator in the UK and in the top 10 within the travel industry, beating competitors many of whom have much bigger budgets!

Fusion's 'School's Out’ campaign is set up to help and inspire parents in school holidays and on weekends! The bright, clean and responsively designed microsite features regularly updated seasonal content and bookable events, as well as classes across over one hundred Fusion leisure centres.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering

Monarch Aircraft Engineering is the division of The Monarch Group that provides aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul for Monarch and other airline operators worldwide. As well as showcasing the wide range of services offered, company news and events, the responsively designed website allows users to search for, and book, suitable aeronautical engineering courses from the variety on offer.  There is also a comprehensive aircraft parts search and ordering system. The client has full control to update every element of the website using a custom CMS built in Marmalade Suite.

Swim Wales

Swim Wales is the national government body whose drive is to both deliver excellence and inspire the nation to enjoy, participate, learn and compete in Welsh aquatics. The new responsive website coherently pulls together all facets of Welsh swimming and aquatic sports into one site. Making it easy for visitors to find information from courses, events and live results, to education, swimming clubs, and pool locations. The website is built on our new version of Marmalade Suite – this is a content management and development framework built within Laravel.

The Great Outdoors

The Great Outdoors is a seasonal campaign to promote Fusion's variety of fun and adventurous outdoor activities. The spring/summer campaign focuses on asking the user just how adventurous they want to be, then serving up relevant activities in the local area to encourage them to try something new. An integrated 'The Wall of Greatness' social feature allows users to post photos of themselves taking part in the activities via Instagram and Twitter.

Event Rider Masters

The Event Rider Masters is a new concept created by leading figures within equestrian sport. ERM are looking to revolutionise the world of eventing, developing the sport to be more appealing to TV and thus attracting a wider audience and bigger sponsorship deals – in much the same way as 20/20 refreshed cricket. The website has been designed to look elegant and sophisticated in order to establish credibility and position the sport in a manner that attracts the right kind of sponsors, Land Rover for example. The site includes event details and results, rider profiles, league tables and includes a members only area that auto initiates personalised campaigns through Mail Chimp.

Onlico - Intelligent IT Services

Onlico is an IT company specialising in cloud services, security and the internet of everything. They engaged Digital Marmalade to redesign its website. The client wanted an updated look and feel so as to stand out from its 'samey' competitors. Animations triggered by a vertical scroll help bring the site's content alive.

Tigerair is a leading Singapore-based no-frills airline. We were tasked with optimising the site's booking process through UX design improvements. A similar exercise was commissioned with Dubai based airline Air Arabia. Both projects resulted in significant increases in booking conversions and ancillary upsells.

International Paper is the world's largest pulp and paper company. The company's sustainability story is beautifully brought together through a series of printed books and a striking, responsive, multi-language website - comprising of a trilogy of pieces: The Little Green Book, The Little Book of Common Sense and A Matter of Credentials.

Cosmos Holidays

Cosmos Holidays is the UK's largest independent tour operator. Digital Marmalade was first engaged in 2007 to help re-position the company from a high street brand to a more focused online operator.
Improved visibility through search engine optimisation; engaging, informative content driven by an intuitive content management system and a slick booking process resulted in the website regularly converting over £1 million of direct sales a week - a 250% increase on the same period year-on-year. In the subsequent years we've added new product types and continued to improve the site and conversions. A case study of the relationship was recently featured in the book 'Brilliant Online Marketing' by Alex Blyth.

Amby Hammocks

Amby produce and sell top quality baby hammocks. We were asked to redesign the website to increase brand and product awareness and to ultimately improve sales. A fresh, responsive design; logical restructure and improved treatment of the content all lead to a more informed customer which is paramount when it comes to making a buying decision on a new-born's sleeping pattern. The Amby site strikes a good balance as proved by the large increase in sales since the redesign.

Barker Gillette is a prestigious commercial and business crime law firm based in the West End of London. We've been supporting Barker Gillette since we were first invited to redesign its website in 2008. The latest upgrade sees the website go responsive whilst retaining its clean and slick design to reflect the company's professionalism. It has always been key to position the firm as approachable and friendly - staff 'alter ego' profiles allow users to see a more personal side of the firm.

Fabris Lane is the UK's largest manufacturer of eyewear, selling around 5 million pieces annually to a wide range of retailers and optician groups. The website was restructured to focus on Fabris Lane's expertise in providing the full spectrum of the retail offer from initial concept to shelf ready product - a step away from the previous product-led website.

Charity Choice

Put simply Charity Choice aims to become to charities what Facebook is to friends and LinkedIn is to business. It allows people to raise money, donate goods, volunteer time and make legacy gifts to over 160,000 charities. Built on the Marmalade Suite platform, the site enables all UK charities to build on their existing supporter relationships, gain new supporters, create powerful microsites with full content management, social media integration and financial reporting.

Fusion Lifestyle offer the opportunity for your child to learn to swim through its Swim School programme. The website is a directory of centres that offer the programme, (postcode finder, interactive map), displayed alongside support information and links directly to each centres Swim School timetables and booking facility.

Bexhill Academy is a vibrant and thriving school at the heart of its community. The website was developed to be handled by specific modules in a custom CMS built in Marmalade Suite. Additionally however, we built a dynamic 'Page Content' module which allows Bexhill (and subsequent schools) to add custom pages on the fly.
