Since 1997

A lot has changed since we started in 1997. The internet has gone from dial-up modems to 5G telephones. We've had a dotcom bubble (and bust), a financial crisis, war in Europe, two recessions and a global pandemic. We've been through seven different prime ministers and five different US presidents.

Through it all, the essence and spirit of Digital Marmalade has remained unchanged. Everyone has diverse and complementary skills and a belief that together we can really achieve something. The spirit within the company is what we're most proud of — it's honest, fun, enthusiastic and professional and long may it continue.

  1. Marcus Superhero

    Digital Marmalade begins in Beckenham, South London as a joint venture between Marcus Brennand and New Solutions, a marketing consultancy.

    1997

  2. Team growth

    The team grows from 3 to 10 people.

    1999

  3. Digital Marmalade and New Solutions joined the Omnicom Group, one of the world's largest marketing and communications companies.

    2000

  4. Tony Superhero

    Tony Brennand joins the company as a Director.

    2001

  5. Projects completed included an artwork generation application for Gallaher International, a brand asset deployment tool for Capgemini, and a domain name and online campaign management system for PartyGaming.

    2003

  6. Kinder

    Clients included Patientline, City & Guilds, Kinder, Piaggio, English Landscapes, The Chapel and Cap Gemini.

    2004

  7. Completed projects for PartyGaming, JTL, Hornbill and League Managers Association, amongst others.

    2005

  8. Matthew Superhero

    Matthew Sheppard joins the company.

    Cosmos Holidays, Somewhere2Stay and B&Q were some of the clients we worked with.

    2006

  9. Jeremy Superhero

    Jeremy joined DM.

    Clients included Monarch Airlines, International Paper and Barker Gillette.

    2007

  10. Produced work for Monarch Holidays, MSC Cruises and Deloitte.

    2008

  11. Andy Superhero

    Andy McEniry joins DM.

    Worked with Spirit of London, Salute Recruit, JTL, Cosmos Holidays, Monarch Engineering and the US Embassy.

    2009

  12. Completed projects for, amongst others, Charity Choice, Fabris Lane, Trevor Sorbie, BlueBella, MacMillan Publishing and Bloomberg.

    2010

  13. Successful launches for Transive, International Paper, Archers Holidays, Monarch Airlines, Yell and Kaplan.

    2011

  14. London Bridge Office

    Digital Marmalade relocated to London Bridge.

    Completed work for Monarch Engineering, News UK, Bloomberg, First Aviation, Tigerair, The Chapel and League Managers Association.

    2012

  15. Sandy Superhero

    Sandy Kydd joins DM.

    Clients included Monarch Airlines, The Times, Wilmington Publishing, Fusion Lifestyle, Sport Passport and MikiTravel.

    2013

  16. Completed projects for NetNames, The Sun, Cosmos Holidays, Interserve and InterParcel.

    2014

  17. Moisis Superhero

    Moisis Hadjiagathangelou joins DM.

    Launched products for Sport Wales, Wall Street Journal, Miracl, Monarch Airlines and News UK.

    2015

  18. Claudio Superhero

    Claudio Graciolli joins DM.

    Work produced for Dimension Data, The Duke of York, Fusion Lifestyle, International Paper, Fabris Lane and Swim Wales.

    Simone Cabras joins DM.

    Completed work for Norwich City, Dimension Data, Amaechi Performance Systems, News UK and Middlesex Cricket Club.

    2018

  21. Agnes Superhero

    Agnes Palit joins DM. Digital Marmalade opens its Cyprus office.

    Clients included NTT Ltd, Bauer Publishing, Warner Bros, Daily Mail, Plymouth Football Club and The Australian.

    2019

    Covid-19 hits the world.

    2020

  23. Hassan, Jerome and Petar Superheros

    Hassan Rasheed and Jerome Kenway join DM in London and Petar Vukotic joins DM Cyprus.

    New work for NTT Data, The Telegraph, ParentZone, Fusion Lifestyle and Herjavec Group.

    2021

  24. Cyderes, Six Degrees, Yorcastle, SustainCert, The Sun and The Times were some of the clients we worked with.

    2022

  25. New projects launched for Starlizard Integrity Services, The Telegraph, Forces in Mind Trust Research Centre, and continued work on platforms for the NHS, The Times, The Sun and Wall Street Journal, amongst others.
