We love Sudoku so it is with great pleasure that we announce that this popular puzzle has now been launched in digital format for The Times and The Sunday Times!

This is the twelfth digital puzzle created for News UK including the world famous Times crossword puzzle.

The News puzzle platform is a custom solution built for all the titles under the news brand. The platform takes XML puzzle feeds and automatically generates the gaming grids, game play and title branding across all user devices (website, tablet and mobile).

An added benefit of Sudoku being integrated into the puzzle platform it game has inherited the puzzles competition functionality we launched last week! Read about that story [here](../news/crosswords-for-the-times-and-sunday-times-just-got-competitive).

If you’re a keen Sudoku player you can play the version we developed in partnership with News UK via The Times and The Sunday Times website as well as their smartphone and tablet apps.
